I have been to Golden Gate on two separate occasions each time I have back the chicken lo mein with hot and sour soup this past Tuesday I ordered (on accident )chow mein with hot sour soup and I received a call from Golden Gate asking if I meant to order this and if I did, they can keep it the same but if I didn’t, they’ll change it for me so I can get my typical order if that does not go to show how above and beyond they will go for their customers I don’t know what is. I definitely will continue to frequent golden gate because they reached out whenever I made a mistake and they did not have to.

First time trying this place through DoorDash and we were impressed with not only the quality of ingredients used, but also the portion sizes. We ordered late at night and it still tasted like it was made fresh to order! We were also not expecting the portions to be so generous sooo we kinda ordered a lot lolol. We tried the egg rolls, steamed and fried dumplings, wonton soup, pork fried rice, curry chicken, combo lo mein, shrimp egg foo young (honestly this might be my New favorite spot for this alone), and kung pao chicken, aaaand Szechuan beef. Everything was spot on. The vegetables tasted fresh and all the sauces were packaged on the side which I really appreciated ❤️ it’s kinda far from where I live but I’d personally make the drive next time.

I've been coming to Golden Gate for probably 20 years. Prices have gone up and meat/polutry portions have been down sized tonliek 1/4 what it use to be. I always order combination Fried rice and I have to order like $3 extra meat for there to even be any meat. Today I ordered almond chicken literally like 7 almonds maybe 3 ounces of chicken (hard maybe) everything else was carrots and water chestnuts.. It's been awhile now that I feel like we have been over paying for salty saucee vegetables and a bite of meat. Large portions are not large portions.

The food looked disgusting and the only thing that looked good was the rice. But it wasnt good it was kind of dry. The chicken tasted like some chopped up deli meat. Nasty. Took a couple bites and only ate the rice. Never again. $8 and some change for a lunch special. I coulda just ate a pizza or a lunchable and been more satisfied. Weird taste. They have to do better. Food dept should really check this place out. That's crazy.

I love chicken and broccoli 🥦. This restaurant makes it SO good. I have tried many of their plates and I have not had a miss. Swing by and enjoy. I love the authentic feel from the cashier to the cook. They put a smile on my face every time!! Give them a try!
